Where do I begin to describe the wonderful visit to Italy we had on our recent vacation? Come along with me to our first stop in Naples and I'll show you around on a walking tour of part of the city, exploring the National Archeological Museum of Naples, strolling through the vast expanse of ancient Pompeii, and enjoying the food. One of the most fun parts of my job as a blogger is getting invited to events like the one I'm sharing today, the HGTV Smart home. Somehow I got on their blogger list years ago and I've been honored to tour several dream homes, smart homes and urban oasis homes that they have done over the years. This year's HGTV Smart Home is actually in my hometown of Marietta, GA. They took a standard 1970's modern home that was in a tired neighborhood and renovated it from the inside out. I love reading how other people pack for trips abroad, so I figured you all might be interested to see how I'm packing for our week in Italy. Luckily, their weather is pretty close to ours this time of year. I've been checking the weather app and southern Italy is in the 60's during the day, maybe close to 70 some days, so layers will be great for this trip. We decided to pack carry on only on this trip, because really we don't need that much for 7 days. I figured I would choose 7 outfits, plus one extra just in case I needed it.
