Either between a game update or an OS update, I can't get the game to launch. I used to play without issue. I'm on Fedora Linux 40 (Workstation Edition). Normally the anticheat will load, the intro video will play, but the screen will freeze or crash when it shows the ship from the outside. Kernel 6.9 Released a Day ago and from what I read it may fix a Lot of my games, problem is, even after syncing databases, the newest Kernel is linux-6.8.9.arch1-2. From what I understood of the Arch Wiki, unless Set Up otherwise, the Database just uses the newest Mainline Kernel from https://kernel.org/ so why can't I upgrade it yet? Does it just take longer to get updated on the Database? If so is there any Estimate of how long it Usually takes? I'd love to see if the New kernel fixes my Issues I've been having. What needs to happen for me to be able to use VRR with multiple monitors connected on Wayland with Nvidia? I know explicit sync was merged and the 555 beta is coming out tomorrow, but apparently that itself won't make VRR work. Is explicit sync a prerequisite for VRR, but there are other problems preventing VRR from working? Is explicit sync needed, but has VRR only been implemented for one screen at a time because you couldn't do more on Xorg anyway? Is this expected to change in an upcoming driver? Hi Y'all I'm running Fedora 40 with KDE6. 7900XTX and a 7800X3D. I do have an issue that whenever a game is under my refresh rate it kinda has some stuttering. Let's say I play Elden Ring which is capped at 60FPS on a 75FPS monitor, I get microstuttering. When I change the monitor refresh rate to 60 I don't have this issue.
