Welcome, everyone! It’s Shari here with a different style of art journaling. I’ve decided to make a tag journal to have a little more freedom using loose tags for things like sewing and embossing folders. This size is also perfect for stamps and dies that are traditionally used for card making. I’m using the Simon Says Stamp O’ Clip to hold them together. I started out by die-cutting tags from watercolor paper. Then I used spray stains and the Mosaic embossing folder for texture. I ink-blotted the Blossom die-cut pieces with tones of blue and brown. Welcome, everyone, and Happy Friday! It’s Shari here with a “sweet” little vignette box project featuring the Tim Holtz Sizzix True Love Colorize die set. I mixed the candies with some pink flowers created from the Tim Holltz Brushstroke Flower dies. To start off, I whitewashed the box with white gesso and ink blended all the candies and flowers with Simon Says Stamp Pawsetively Saturated inks. I had a happy surprise to find out that the Heart Chain die-cut fit perfectly around the outside of the box, and I was able to use the center hearts for the inside.
