Hello everyone! Hopefully we're all done with the snow now- So my project for today is an art tag for Spring! I started by stamping the tree of life stamp, then the face. Then I cut out some masks for the eyes so I could color them later. I used a post it note for the mask. Then I sprayed Spray stains until I was happy, then dried with heat tool and repeat until I had it how I wanted. I also used a paint brush on my brown ink pad to put some branches in the tree. Then I painted her eyes and lips and added some blue at the bottom corner of the tag for balance. I stamped the mush ..read more

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, I have had some sad news over the last week and have had to make a sympathy card.  It's relatively quick to make and I hope you like it. I wet some card (which holds water well) and then sprinkled Ost. Blue brushos onto it, dabbing the excess water off with a tissue. When I was satisfied with the amount of colour, and the card was completely dry, I stamped the main stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturn. I then went round the edge of the mat with a blue Sharpie pen to match the tones in the brushos. I stamped the inside of the card with the lovely se ..read more

Good morning, Cathy here with a moonlight mini slimline card.  I started out making the background with some pigment powers. I did blue and yellow. I then stamped the moon in the corner where I had the yellow.  I then colored it in more with a yellow marker.  I then stamped fir tree silhouette on the bottom multiple times.  After that I stamped howling coyote  in the middle of the trees. I added some white spray and layered it on a black card base.                      &n ..read more

Hello everyone! For todays blog project, I decided to start an art journal. Here is the first page. To start out, I sprayed spray stains and some water I then dried that and painted on some twinkling H2os paints. Then I sprayed black soot spray over all and dried that. Once dry the sparkly paints showed through very nicely. hard to show on camera but its very subtle and pretty. Next I stamped my girl and wings and cut them out. I decided to leave them uncolored since the page is so dark already, I found some hand made paper in my stash and tore that and glued it down. I also used so ..read more
