Here's another study that shows that today's temperatures are not unprecedented, as it was hotter as little as 9000 years ago.and life carried on. So the climate changes and we must adapt to it. We cannot stop climate changing.  Cats, dogs, rabbits, geese and frogs lived in the high Arctic during a hotter era 9,000 years ago « JoNova (joannenova.com.au ..read more

Firms are beavering away trying to find the best way to capture CO2 and remove it from the atmosphere. You can see how they are doing at this link (from Renewable Guy)  Musk-backed Xprize carbon removal competition… | Canary Media I could not find any specific amount of CO2 which they are required to remove, or the cost of it or who is going to pay for it. Even Elon Musk would not be able to afford that! I look forward to China, India and Russia etc, paying their contribution. Or will they be given a free pass ..read more

PROOF THAT SEA LEVELS WERE HIGHER 90000 YEARS AGO
climate science
by Derek Tipp

It is estimated that sea levels were globally about 6 to 9 meters higher than today during the last interglacial (~130,000 to 115,000 years ago), when CO2 supposedly peaked at 275 ppm (Sommers et al., 2022). It is currently 420 ppm, suggesting that the link between sea level and CO2 is weak. UK ENERGY SECRETARY INTERVIEW
climate science

Following on from last Friday's piece where she wrote a rather weak response to Paul Homewood's letter, here is an interview, reported in The House magazine where she talks about her thoughts and attitudes.  Claire Coutinho: 'People want us to play a part in climate change, but not at any cost' (politicshome.com) It would, of course, be impossible to have an Energy Secretary who openly admitted to being a climate sceptic. It is doubtful if a climate sceptic could even be in the cabinet at all, such is the current state of hysteria over the subject of climate change. Those who speak out ar ..read more

NET ZERO "WON'T BE PLEASANT" SAYS FORMER ENERGY SECRETARY
climate science
by Derek Tipp
5d ago
The House magazine is widely read among our MPs and it contains a lot of interesting articles on the key issues of the day. The latest edition contains a number of articles on net zero. The link below is to the one by Lord Howell, a former Tory Energy Secretary. He makes a good point, that the net zero push has only just started, but people are led to believe that we are already half way there. As he says, electricity may be currently reducing its reliance on fossil fuels, but electricity is currently less than 20% of the UK's total energy usage.  "That still leaves some 60 to 70 per cent ..read more

It has become apparent for a long time that the most expensive part of an EV is the battery which has a limited life. This fact is becoming widely known and is a major factor in putting people off buying one. This has now been picked up by the major national press here in the UK, see the link below:  The used electric car timebomb -  EVs could become impossible to sell on because battery guarantees won't last - find out if you are affected | Daily Mail Online ..read more

NET ZERO AT ALL COSTS
climate science

The madness continues with an announcement that the UK will never reach its target of net zero emissions by 2050, according to the report by Energy Systems Catapult, a government-funded body that promotes innovation (and net zero). The Climate Change Committee, which advises the Government, has described direct air capture as “a necessity, not an option”, for the UK to meet its net zero targets. This comes at a cost of £30 billion at a time when the country has no money to properly fund our roads, schools, prisons etc. Read more here: Britain must spend £30bn to strip CO2 ..read more

ELECTRIC VEHICLE MAKER LOSING HUGE SUMS

You might think that electric vehicles would be a good investment with all the political pressure for doing away with petrol and diesel vehicles, and yet we see that the manufacturers are losing large sums, as the bulk of the public are not buying them. Governments can interfere in the market, but it can have unintended consequences.    Ford lost $1.3 billion in a quarter, a loss of $132,000 on every EV sold « JoNova (joannenova.com.au ..read more

GLOBAL TEMPERATURE - WEAK AND INACCURATE - HERE'S WHY
climate science

This new video by Paul Burgess clearly explains how the poor standard of temperature data makes accurate measurements impossible and yet the whole climate change narrative depends on this data. This inherent weakness is never mentioned and is completely ignored by those who are desperate to keep the public believing, and hence willing to put up with the restrictions that are to be put on them.   The Heart of Climate Deception Temperature (youtube.com ..read more

I could not believe the figure for the number of viewings for today. Maybe the hit counter is playing up. I usually get about 1000 to 2000 on a good day, but this figure is way off the chart.  You are all welcome and keep coming back for the important news on climate change. I will get the final figure at midnight. My best month was around 73,000, so I doubt if that will be beaten, but you never know.  ..read more
