From My Front Porch To Yours

I hope that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving! We staid at home and enjoyed a quiet day. Not really much different from our normal Thanksgiving to be honest. I know that for some of you this year may have looked completely different but I hope that everyone found some joy in the day.  With Thanksgiving behind us it is time for decking the halls. I started a few weeks ago and have been dragging my feet to finish.  I am determined to finish most of it today though ..read more

Laundry Room Makeover Part 3- Farmhouse Cottage Style
From My Front Porch To Yours
by Pamela

Today's post will bring y'all up to date on where I am at with our laundry room makeover. I will be honest I could have had this makeover completed earlier if I had just not dragged my feet. We thought that we were going to have issues with moving the washer and dryer down the wall. Our dryer was beyond a pain to hook up when we moved in and it took us hours to finally get it connected. We were so sure that we were going to have to disconnect it to move it so I avoided tackling this makeover something fierce. Well with the fridge sitting in the spot where our Christmas tree goes I knew I neede ..read more

Laundry Room Makeover Part 2 Farmhouse Cottage Style
From My Front Porch To Yours

I started making over our laundry room back in August but never got around to sharing on here so yesterday I posted Part 1 of our laundry room makeover. Today I am going to pick up where I left off. There were so many pictures that I felt best to just share them in several different posts. After I finished putting up the Peel & Stick Wallpaper...which actually is not wallpaper  but I will get to that in another post...I could not resist putting up my Wash & Dry Sign and a few other accessories just to see how it would all come together. I loved the cathedral window but ended ..read more

I noticed that my post Farmhouse Laundry Room Mini Makeover from way back in 2017 has been popular here of late. At the time I was not ready to do a full makeover so all I did was change out the paint color of the space. As you can see paint makes such a huge difference just by itself ..read more

Easy DIY Faux Jadeite Ornaments
From My Front Porch To Yours
by Pamela

Whose already decking the halls? I am! Over the past few weeks I have been pulling my Christmas decor out in anticipation for the most wonderful time of year. I have also been doing a lot of crafting for this holiday season. With my love for jadeite and wanting to add to my jadeite collection but not wanting to spend a lot of money last year I attempted to make some jadeite colored ball ornaments for Christmas, the ones where you just squirt the craft paint in the ornament and swoosh it all around. I loved the idea but in the end they mostly turned out to be a hot mess with peeling paint ..read more

Fun Vintage Halloween Christmas Tree
From My Front Porch To Yours
by Pamela

Today I am sharing our fun Halloween Tree. I do not normally decorate for Halloween per say. Thru out the years I will add a little touch of it here and there but never anything large scale. Not that I do not find plenty of cute Halloween decorations. I do! The problem is that with Halloween decor Christmas decor always comes out in stores as well and honestly Christmas decorations win out every time!!:) I have though grabbed a few things here and there over time. I went thru it all and decided that I had enough to create a fun Halloween Tree. I have a few slender trees that I leave up all ye ..read more

Farmhouse Cottage Style Fall Front Porch
From My Front Porch To Yours

Welcome to our fall porch for 2020! I have to say it was kinda tricky trying to get some decent pictures to share. Every time I tried the sun was shining in the wrong place. I always seemed to miss the optimal time. This year I created our fall porch in stages. Adding something new over the last few weeks.   The sunflower wreaths are from Home Depot this year and were only $15! You can't make them for that price so in our cart they hopped. The architectural pieces are from Ragon House. I put up grapevine garland around the windows with fairy lights added every where. I purchase my ..read more

Farmhouse Cottage Fall Fireplace Mantel
From My Front Porch To Yours

The windows are open and a cool breeze is blowing so I thought that it was the perfect time to share our fall fireplace for this year. It actually started out as something totally different but I ended up redoing it because I didn't want to haul back up to the garage some of the decor. LOL. I kept it fairly simple. Just placed the leaf wreath along with some of my favorite flameless candles and stacked pumpkins that I chalk painted ..read more

Farmhouse Cottage Style Fall Dining Room
From My Front Porch To Yours

Welcome to our fall dining room for this year! I am really loving how it turned out. The only thing I purchased new for this year were the supplies to make the fall tree. Everything else was acquired thru the years. There are those who can go out and purchase all new but I like the challenge of creating something new with what I already have...most of the time. LOL. Of course the star of the show is the reproduction bread makers cabinet. This is the first fall with it. We purchased it locally right after Thanksgiving last year.  ..read more
