Filmmaker and DC Studios chief James Gunn has taken time out from filming “Superman” to debunk a recent DCU casting rumor gaining traction online. That rumor? That the “Peacemaker” spin-off series “Waller,” starring Viola Davis as A.R.G.U.S. director Amanda Waller, is rumored to have cast “The Last Voyage of the Demeter,” “Kong: Skull Island” and “24: Legacy” actor Corey Hawkins as agent Dale Gunn in the series. IFC Releasing has confirmed a May 10th release date for “Force of Nature: The Dry 2,” the sequel to 2020’s well-regarded Australian rural noir thriller “The Dry”. In addition, they’ve released the U.S. trailer for the film. The first film was an adaptation of the Jane Harper novel of the same name.
