Hostess with the Mostess® This Super Mario Party drink station will be a *SMASH* hit at your party! The key elements were lemon-lime soda served in fuzzy mustache carafes, flavored syrups, light-up ice cubes, and party cups adorned with Super Mario bracelet “drink markers”. In addition to being SUPER FUN, this drink station was also SUPER YUM… which is why I decided to name it exactly that. We served Cherry, Vanilla, and Peach flavors for the syrups. I thought Cherry would be the most popular for sure, but it was actually PEACH! Must’ve been all the Princess Peach vibes. Super Mario Printa ..read more

Hostess with the Mostess® Here’s a fun snack idea for your Super Mario birthday party: POWER UP Fruit Cups! I’ve designed two Super Mario-themed candy buffets in the past – and wanted to try something different this time. This FRUIT-filled buffet was super tasty, colorful, AND still a big hit with the kids! It was also simple to put together. We had a variety of fruits + extra toppings like Cool Whip and granola. Styling the Station Shiny gold treat cups & gold spoons were a nod to the gold coins in the game. I also hot-glued plastic gold coins to the front of the fruit containers. To ..read more

Hostess with the Mostess® It was so much fun to bring this Daisy Festival Baby Shower to life for our electric-dance-music-loving friend, Mimi! This was actually a mini SURPRISE baby shower that took place on an annual girls’ trip with my college besties. And the fact that it took place on a trip means that ALL of the party decor arrived in a Tetris-style packed suitcase. Even though I’d classify this as a “mini” baby shower, these ideas could easily work for a full-size event, too. And with all its bright colors & happy-go-lucky vibes, this theme is especially perfect for summer! Side ..read more
