New Moon coming soon! The next month will be a time when the new individuality awakened by Uranus two years ago will come into focus, promising confirmation, rewards, and the appearance “of the Beloved” on the balcony of our life. The clearer we can be about our heart’s desire the more likely it will show up in some form these next 4 weeks!
This Lunation introduces a new focus wherever we have 19 Taurus, a technique of allowing our spontaneity up and out. The 108-110+ degree span we’ve been experiencing the past few months is now expanded to 113+, never to compress again f ..read more

A friend of mine, Joel Bennett, posted something today which I am moved to share with you about time, destiny, and our journey to living our Soul’s purpose.
You will recall that Dr. Joel is the author of the Quest for Presence series which outlines the the Four Radiant Forces, the Soulful Capacities, the Nine Attractions, the Eight Trajectories, and the Sixteen Treasures. Each is a book which is part of the whole, and can also be read independently. I wrote the foreward to Book 2 and published my review in the article here titled Quest for Presence Book 2 – The Soulful Cap ..read more

Pluto represents the Divine Power of ultimate regeneration, and is the Lord of the Underworld we all must pass through at least once in our life if we are to be a purified vessel and become authentic to our core. Through Pluto we know who we really are. Right now it’s stationary retrograde at 3 Aquarius. We have major global shifts ahead at the threshold of global change!
Pluto’s exact retrograde station occurs at 10:46 am PDT, 6:46 pm BST on May 2, though it’s been manifesting stationary energies for a few weeks! As is the case with all the outer planets when they turn st ..read more

At 8:33 am PDT on April 30, Mars enters Aries. What does this mean for all of us?
It means that how we generally “attack the problems of life,” or how we “take the initiative” leaves the mystical deep tides of Mutable Water in Pisces and now expresses it through the Cardinal Fire of its home sign of Aries! When it transited Capricorn and Aquarius in February it re-activated the numerous 2020 conjunctions in Capricorn and 1 Aquarius which launched the initial pulse of The Grand Mutation in December 2020. It now leaves the deep waters of Pisces where it made conjunctions wit ..read more

Yes, it was 20 years ago today that I launched the original Aquarius Papers as a Salon blog. I quickly realized I was the first and only astrology blog in the world, a website where I interacted with people from all over the world. A little backstory and reflection....
First, a brief word from our sponsor….
It was twenty years ago
Admiral Robert began the show
And launched this pioneering starship
So the net world could take a very nice trip
Around a universe of infinite stars and things
And metaphysics and culture and Saturn’s rings
With all kinds of music lighting the wa ..read more

Venus leaves its stay in dynamic and straightforward Aries at 4:31 am PDT April 29 and enters its home sign of Taurus where it finds enjoyment, ease, and stability. What does Venus’ passage through Taurus hold for all of us?
This brings the next shift in the energy of planets and houses we have in Taurus and Libra. Venus in Taurus brings the Venusian values, wisdom, and occasionally folly to expression in a natural earthy form, where the impulsive self-initiating energies of Aries are grounded in the genuineness and enjoyment of life of Taurus. Venus in Taurus likes to tou ..read more

For our Sunday main event, we send up a big Happy Birthday to an all-around good guy who has definitely changed the world for the better, and given us some great music along the way! Today we celebrate the birthday of my old friend Willie Nelson, a genuine hero, patron saint of our farmers and pioneer champion of biofuels, free speech and other forms of plant power!
As I've told you before, I knew Willie Nelson (April 29, 1933) in the late 1970s when I lived in Austin and being part of his "family," helped make his "Fourth of July Picnics" a staple of Texas culture and his ..read more

Today we send up a happy and merry to one of the great guitar pioneers of our times, the amazing Duane Eddy! Master of the "twangy guitar," he gave us some amazing tunes in the 50s and 60s and inspired 10,000 guitar pickers everywhere. Today we have some great performance clips!
Duane Eddy (April 26, 1938) paired up with producer/songwriter Lee Hazelwood in Arizona in the 50s, and the rest is history! His band, the Rebel Rousers, featured such major talents as Steve Douglas, Jim Horn and keyboard player Larry Knechtel, both of whom also were part of The Wrecking Crew, a co ..read more
