Iga Swiatek defeated Maria Sakkari 6-4 6-0 to claim the BNP Paribas Open title for a second time. The match lasted just an hour and eight minutes. The eventual winner broke early for a 3-0 lead in the first set, they equalized at 3-3 and again at 4-4 before Swiatek ran away with the last eight games of the match.
