Eight Observations on the Xiamen Diamond League, the opening of the 2024 Diamond League Season 1. From the very beginning, the Diamond League opener was a spectacular track and field meet that lived up to the hype in all categories. 2. Mondo Duplantis is starting the outdoor season with an exciting new world record in the pole vault, which has to be seen and appreciated. Observing the Belgrade 2024 WA Cross Country this year, it was obvious that European teams are reconsidering competing in the World event. This is an interview with Zach Panning, who took sixth place at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in Orlando, Florida, on February 3, 2024. Zach had the attention of the TV audience and fans on the course for 22.5 miles as he battled Connor Mantz and Clayton Young from the first few miles to the almost 23-mile point.  During the broadcast, RunBlogRun covered the event live on-site and remotely.
