From Organise! Armenia After the collapse of the Soviet Union, anarchism once again became a political force in Armenia. As anti-authoritarians stepped out into a new environment of political openness, things once again began to look brighter. This changed in 2008, when the right-wing authoritarian government of Serzh Sargsyan rose to power, crushing any dissent with an iron fist. As social services were cut to pieces and the state made political opposition increasingly unviable, anarchists gradually rebuilt their strength. Before Sargsyan's dictatorship was finally brought down in revolutio ..read more

From Pramen Прамень30.05.202330.05.2023 For many years the anarchist movement in Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine has participated in major political events with varying degrees of success. Maidan in Ukraine, protests against slavery and 2020 in Belarus, actions in Russia – wherever the struggle against authoritarianism began, anarchists were at the forefront. The same situation developed when Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Many comrades from various parts of the former Soviet Union took up arms to fight against Putin’s inhumane regime. Today there are more than a hundred anar ..read more

From Mongoose Distro Greetings comrades. Let me tell you about this prison, the federal supermax ADX [in Florence, Colorado]. In this joint there are different levels and units with varying levels of physical isolation and communication, but there are things we all experience. Everyone is locked down at least 21 hours a day, at max 24. When you have inside rec you are by yourself in a room without a pull up bar. Outside rec cages are 8 x 10 foot dog kennels surrounded by concrete walls and a chain link roof — a cage within a cage. Unless you are in the pre-release unit (K-A) or long-term eld ..read more

From It's Going Down Opposing Medea Benjamin in Minneapolis Report on counter-demo against red/brown organizer Medea Benjamin from so-called Minneapolis, MN. On an unseasonably cool May evening even by Minneapolis standards, a small and diverse group of antifascists stood outside of a building used by a number of Minneapolis non-profits, among them the local chapter of “Veterans for Peace” (VFP) and “Women Against Military Madness” (WAMM). The occasion was a book talk by Medea Benjamin to discuss her book about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Medea – who some older anarchists will recall as th ..read more

From Organisation Communiste Libertaire April 2, 2023 Our comrade Gérard Lagorce left us on March 30, 2023. Gérard was a young high school student who joined the Nanterre Anarchist Group, even before obtaining his baccalaureate and joining his fellow students at the faculty of "La Folie." Undoubtedly one of the most Nanterre-based of the bunch, he was one of the leaders of the Liaison des Étudiants Anarchistes (LEA), with whom he experienced the beginnings of the student revolt that exploded in May '68, and is still spreading today... A front-line activist, he was one of the 142 who occupied ..read more

Dear companions, On the first of May we moved into the new location of the Biblioteca Terra Livre. We left a 14 square meter room that housed us for 12 years and moved our hopes to a new location, twice the size and located in the center of São Paulo. We inaugurate a new phase and with it new responsibilities will arise. Now we will be able to concentrate our work as a documentation center, studies, propaganda, book publishing and education in the same space. There is still a lot of work to organize the space, but we will do it with a lot of will and conviction. We sow new seeds so that they ..read more
