On Wednesday night, the NFL released the 2021 Chicago Bears schedule, and we could not be more excited for the upcoming season! After looking through the schedule and giving it some careful consideration, these are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to: 11/8 at Pittsburgh – The Steelers haven’t been able to beat the Bears since 2005, and the last time these two met in prime time, Chicago put the hurt on Pittsburgh with a 40-23 win. Here’s hoping that the Bears can keep this winning streak going. 11/25 at Detroit – Once again, the Bears will be eating their turkey in the big D, as th ..read more

Could Nick Foles Be the Bears Starter at QB by Default in 2021?
Bears Gab

Don’t look now, but the Bears may already have their 2021 quarterback on their roster. That quarterback is Nick Foles, who last season struggled, going 2-5 as a starter, throwing for 10 touchdowns and 8 picks with a QB rating of just 80.8. One thing that Foles and the Bears have going for them is the fact that he’s got a very affordable salary cap number of $6.7 million in 2021, making him a candidate to be the starter for the Bears to begin the season. It is sounding more and more like Mitch Trubisky won’t be back, as the team has until March 17th to ink him before free agency starts, and th ..read more

With their two top quarterbacks hurt, the Bears are bringing in former Notre Dame star DeShone Kizer for a tryout, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. A second-round pick in 2017, Kizer started 15 games for the Browns as a rookie — and lost all 15. He completed 255 of 476 passes for 2,894 yards and 11 touchdowns. Kizer threw 22 interceptions and had a 60.5 passer rating. He hasn’t made a start since. Kizer appeared in three games for the Packers in 2018. The Raiders claimed him off waivers in 2019 and cut him from their practice squad in late September. General manager Ryan Pace ..read more

Following Monday night’s disappointing loss in Los Angeles to the Rams, things won’t get much easier this week for the Bears, who will take on future Hall of Fame QB Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The late afternoon Sunday matchup is one of the big games in the NFL for week eight, and it’s a big chance for the Bears to rebound after a tough 14-point loss Monday night. There’s plenty of things to discuss from the Bears perspective as the team gets back to work today to get ready to combat the Saints. * Will the “O” Catch Up to the “D”? Bears Pull Out a 20-19 Win Over the Buccaneers; Brady Blows Off Foles After the Game

Bears QB Nick Foles led an inspiring drive Thursday night to lead Chicago to a 20-19 win over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs at home to move to 4-1 on the season. While Foles (once again) did his part to lead the team to a huge win, there was an interesting incident after the game where the former Eagles QB seemed to be hanging out waiting to shake hands with Brady after the game. To no avail. The multiple Super Bowl winning QB simply raced off the field, blowing off Foles who simply stood there waiting to say “hi.” Here’s video of the incident: Brady does not go out to shake Nick Foles’s ..read more
