Below are four character posters released as part of the trailer for Transformers One. The posters focus on the four main cast members of Orion Pax (Chris Hemsworth), D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry), Elita (Scarlett Johansson), and Bumblebee (Keegan-Michael Key). The movie hits theaters on September 20, 2024. The time frame the movie covers is the friendship of Orion and D but its not clear if it goes into them becoming Optimus Prime and Megatron. After an hour flight to 125,000 feet above the Earth in space, the first trailer for Transformers One is out. The animated movie is set on Cybertron before the rise of Optimus Prime and Megatron, before the civil war that ravages the planet, and shows the friendship between the two had before becoming enemies. Transformers will return to theaters this May with a table read of many of the original voice actors including Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron). This is part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of franchise. From the details it looks like they will read from the script for "More Than Meets the Eye" three part premiere episodes for the original series. Sunday evening, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held their 2nd Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards. This was a spin-off of the daytime Emmy Awards.
