It was a game that we should be seeing weekly based on how we play. The fact our heaviest defeat has only come now is actually quite the surprise. Olise, Mateta, Mitchell and Olise again scored past Onana. Casemiro had his finger prints all over those Palace goals, as did Evans, who looked even older than his elderly football age. It might be the nail in the coffin for Ten Hag finally. Casemiro’s Hawthrons Everyone remembers that game away to West Brom where Gary Neville was knocked from pillar to post by their left winger. No one knew more than the man himself as he walked into the Ferguson ..read more

Manchester United will turn up at Crystal Palace this evening with an injury list that is off the charts. Now even the previously unbreakable Bruno Fernandes is unavailable, with Harry Maguire also being added to the long list of defenders who have previously been ruled out. A win for United this evening would return United to 6th in the table, three points behind Tottenham Hotspur, while a draw would see us move above Chelsea but remain below Newcastle, while a defeat would obviously see us remain in 8th position. Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Evans, Dalot; Mainoo, Eriksen; Antony, Mount, Ga ..read more

Man Utd 1-1 Burnley: Onana Giveth and Taketh Away

There isn’t much else to say with this Man Utd team, quite frankly. This is a 19th placed Burnley who will probably be plying their trade in the Championship next season, barring a small miracle. If anything is to go by, United should probably being plying their trade in the second division too. No one would be able to tell the teams apart if not for the badge and kits. The breakthrough came through Antony, as he latched onto a mistake before slotting home even while falling. However, Onana, who had kept us level in the game with a series of important saves in the first half, conceded a penal ..read more

Manchester United have seen several academy graduates solidify they place in the first team squad this season, with Alejandro Garnacho scoring and assisting more goals than any other teenager in the league this season. Kobbie Mainoo has also impressed and has become one of the first names on the teamsheet since returning from his injury in November. Captain Bruno Fernandes has spoken to the club’s official site about the responsibility the team has to do well to allow the youngsters to develop and improve. At this club, you are used to having young players coming through the Academy and you ..read more

It looked like it was going to mirror the game in January 2021. A mistake from the keeper to allow Sheffield Utd to go ahead, as Onana passed to Bogle, who finished past him. Maguire would bring us back into it with a header. However, Sheffield Utd go ahead again surprisingly, with a Diaz strike. Then the Bruno show turned on, as a penalty, which funnily ruled out an own goal, a long range pearler and an excellent assist for Hojlund to wrap things up. Less of a heart raiser than the FA Cup semi final but with all the worries that presented as well. The Scorpion and The Frog The myth is well k ..read more

Following an eventful weekend at Wembley, Manchester United return to Old Trafford with the hope of mending their reputation. To go 3-0 up against a Championship side, only to be pegged back to 3-3 and need a penalty shoot-out to progress for the final, is incredibly embarrassing. Sheffield United may fancy their chances after seeing how close we were to throwing it away against Coventry. Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Maguire, Dalot, Mainoo, Eriksen, Fernandes, Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho. It is getting more difficult to watch United because it is difficult to be able to come up with something novel that we do badly when we are consistently so bad in what we do every week. It is what you usually see – a barrage of shots on our goal, poor play in and out of possession but this time we were able to come out with a draw. This rendition was Solanke and Kluviert profiting off our paucity in football with Bruno Fernandes returning to his older form of managing to get a goal out of nothing – a strike after a deflection in the box and a penalty, that was actually harsh on Bournemouth ..read more

Manchester United travel to Bournemouth this afternoon with supporters hoping to see a good performance and a good result. Following the frustrating 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend, which saw United battered for the first half before making a strong comeback in the second half before a dubious penalty for the scousers, Erik ten Hag will want to keep the vague hopes of a top four finish alive this afternoon. With Raphael Varane ruled out until close to the end of the season and Jonny Evans also unavailable this afternoon, it’s slim pickings for United at the back. Although Harry Maguir ..read more

It was not quite the FA Cup frenzy we endured/enjoyed recently, even if Antony going through at the end did evoke memories of Amad going through against this same team 3 weeks ago. The first half was complete domination by Liverpool. Diaz struck one of Liverpool’s first half shots into the net. Meanwhile, Man Utd had none. The first time that happened since October 2015. I believe the first shot we had was Bruno’s brilliant effort over the head of the Liverpool goalkeeper. Then, Mainoo wanted to join in on the game with a wonderful curler into the far post that sent the Stretford End and all ..read more

Manchester United’s U-18 side thrashed Liverpool 9-1 on Saturday afternoon, with James Scanlon putting his side ahead with less than a minute on the clock.
