This is All on the Table, a column featuring writers we love sharing stories of food, conflict, and community. The choice of restaurant was important. It needed to be not too large, not too small. March 23, 2020 Dear Adam, We weren’t supposed to meet like this. We were supposed to meet in Nashville next month at a benefit for a local literary organization.
