Fantascene is a wallpaper changer. But its not a bog standard changer. It plays video wallpapers on your background. With modern CPU and GPUs there are often buckets of spare system resources, so why not use them to make your desktop stand out from the crowd.

I have a Gen3 T14 ThinkPad that I love, but I'm facing one annoying issue. The TrackPoint is constantly recalibrating incorrectly, causing the cursor to move on its own. It takes a few seconds to recalibrate, but during this time, the mouse becomes unusable. It does this when the trackpoint is held for about 5 seconds in one direction. This issue makes playing games really difficult. I did some digging and found a sysfs entry at /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1. The directory has entries like bind_mode, description, driver, drvctl, firmware_id, id, input, modalias, power, press_to_select, pr ..read more

My new Lenovo laptop is a few weeks old; been using it daily. Debian bookworm OS. Bootup fails with the following:
Quote:
/def/nme0n1p2 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
Inode 23593190, end of extent exceeds allowable value
(logical block 13, physical block 3135496, len 1)
/dev/nvme0n1p2: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
fsck exited with status code 4
The root filesystem on /dev/nvne0n1p2 requires a manual fsck

Can't be this hard, but I can't seem to find an easy way of getting the package nicegui installed for Python. As some of you are aware, pip3 no longer works for PI OS 64 Bookworm and for Ubuntu 23.10. Seems we are being forced to use apt install python3-<package> . Only there isn't one for this package. I don't use or want to use docker.. just plain o' Linux. The pip process was always so nice and easy to use which also picked up all the dependencies needed.

Hello guys, I'm absolute noob in networks.
So, there's a second router which I want to use as a wi-fi access point, so I want to configure it somehow.
layout: isp -> first router -> switch -> other stuff
-> 2 router (wi-fi acces point)
What I need to do to get into router settings?
And can you suggest some books/guides about networks, please, because I'm feeling ashamed to ask questions like this.
Thanks in advance ..read more
