Ice cream creamery is the IN dessert store these days.
With the soaring temperature these days, a visit to Ice Cream Creamery is always a welcome. While searching for dessert stores in the East, at least 20 creameries pop up on Google Maps. After our archery session at Salt & Light Archery @ Chai Chee, we decided to head to the nearby Kook Creamery in Bedok.
It is a 5-minute drive there to this part of Bedok. We noticed that this cluster of blocks at Bedok has become a foodie haven. At Blk 218, Bedok North Street 1, there are at least 4 other restaurants and dessert stores ..read more

Come with us to this cosy cafe in Swan Lake Ave's heart.
Nestled in the landed enclave of this idyllic estate, Black and Ink is accessible by public transport running on New Upper Changi Road. It is also on the same row of shophouses as the popular Baker and Inn, where we had breakfast a few years back.
Black and Inn
Stepping inside, you will be greeted with a spacious interior that seats at least 50 pax for groups of all sizes.
The interior is accented with an industrial mood, with concrete floors, generous-sized wooden tables, an array of wooden seats, and ..read more

I am not throwing away my shot!
This line from Hamilton kept ringing in my head as I watched the story of Alexander Hamilton come alive on stage. Brought to Singapore shores by Base Entertainment, this is one musical that was eagerly anticipated.
From the get-go, you are treated to an audio and visual feast. A medley of songs that takes its cues from the modern era, well-choreographed moves that grab the audience's attention, and actors who take centre stage regardless of their roles, Hamilton is one musical that weaves a blend of Boardway infused with rap, hip-hop, pop and jazz seamle ..read more

If the moon looks big on April 24, it is because it is a supermoon.
April SuperMoon is known as Pink Moon.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Pink Moon is NOT actually Pink. It is known as such because it originates from the pink wildflowers that bloom in early spring. If you see any photos with the moon PINK, they have probably been edited.
These are the timings to note, according to Stargazing Singapore.
Moon Rise: 7.23 pm
100 Illumination: 7.50om
Visible at Horizon by 7.45pm if skies are clear
Direction: South Eastern Sky
If you plan to take a shot of the moon, it is best ..read more
