I was shocked to hear about the Melaka Floating Market project that was supposed to be launched in February 2024, and it is now past that time and April when writing this.
As this year is Visit Melaka Year 2024, many projects and programs have been planned for two years after the pandemic, and the floating market in Melaka was one of them.
Update 6 May 2024: The proposed launch for the Melaka Floating Market has been postponed until June as more vendors need to take up the boat slots. This time around, only 30 boats will be allocated for the project.

For any underwater aficionado, there are many compelling reasons to visit MIDE. The Malaysian International Dive Expo (MIDE) has been held annually since 2006.
It attracts visitors and dive resorts/operators from throughout Malaysia and the world. The most recent iteration was held from 7 to 9 June 2024 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.
The event was a smashing success and attracted thousands of visitors over the three-day event weekend. Next year's event has already been confirmed for 6-8 June 2024. Undoubtedly, it will be another success.
