While third-party browser developers have reported a jump in iPhone installs since Apple made changes in iOS 17.4 to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, that doesn’t mean there isn’t criticism from the developers related to Apple’s default browser choice screen. A customer email shared by Android Authority reveals the Google One VPN service will be shut down later this year. The service rolled out to Android devices in October 2020, before being made available to iOS devices and Macs in 2022. The VPN service initially launched as part of Google One’s Premium 2TB storage plan, priced at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Apple employees at the Apple Store in Short Hills, New Jersey have petitioned to unionize, according to a new report from Bloomberg. There are 104 workers at the Apple Short Hills store. Communication Workers of America (CWA) filed a unionization petition with the National Labor Relations Board on behalf of employees earlier this week.
