If you like the sweet and salty combination of chocolate covered bacon or candied bacon then you’re probably going to want to make this S’mores Bacon!I’m not normally a fan of sweets and I’ve always thought that chocolate covered bacon was a little overrated, so I’m not sure what led me to make this S’mores Bacon but I’m glad I did!
I started off by frying up some thick cut bacon and then brushed melted marshmallow over each of the bacon strips. After that I sprinkled crushed up graham crackers onto the marshmallows and drizzled melted Hershey’s chocolate bars over them.
The main thing I never ..read more

Have you ever wondered what a one pound Snickers bar would look like if you deep fried it? Well, now you don’t have to!
I got a giant one pound Snickers bar as a gift at a late family Christmas celebration and after staring at it as it sat on my kitchen counter for the past weeks weeks I came up with the genius idea of deep frying it.
I’ve actually made deep fried candy bars before, but back then I used snack size candy bars, which are much easier to fry. Generally when you’re frying something like this the best way to get a nice even coating of batter on it is to fill a glass with batter an ..read more

Looking for a way to upgrade homemade corn dogs? Swap out the hot dogs for strips of steak and then top them with Flip Whip’s whipped Bleu Cheese dressing like I did!
I love ranch dressing and I love Bleu Cheese, so when Flip Whip asked me if I could create a recipe using their new whipped dip & dressing I obviously said yes!
So what exactly is flip whip? Well, they basically combined whip cream with the taste of ranch and Bleu Cheese. It’s light, it’s fluffy and best of all it’s absolutely delicious!
They specifically asked for a recipe that used Bleu Cheese Flip Whip, so I knew that I ha ..read more

Mashed potatoes are the perfect holiday side dish, and they’re even better when you add bacon and cheese and deep fry them!
Prairie Farms Dairy kicked off their Cheer Starts Here holiday campaign recently where they’re giving away weekly dairy prize packages, and to help promote it they asked me to create a fun, holiday recipe.
When I think of holiday dinners the first thing that comes to mind is mashed potatoes. If you know me though you should know that sharing a basic recipe for mashed potatoes isn’t really my thing. I always have to take it one step further, which is why I made my mashed p ..read more

Have you ever wanted to bite into a golden brown corn dog only to taste warm mayonnaise instead of a hot dog? If so, this recipe is for you! I’m not sure what exactly possessed me to make corn dogs that have mayonnaise instead of hot dogs in the middle. Maybe it was watching my buddy The Vulgar Chef make a mayonnaise pie with a Doritos crust or maybe I just love barely being able to squeeze into clothing that fit me perfectly fine a mere six months ago but either way, here we are!
What’s even worse is that I didn’t just randomly decide to do this one day on a whim, I actually had these mayonna ..read more

Here in Wisconsin tailgating is a year round event. It doesn’t matter if it’s 10° outside or if there’s snow on the ground. If there’s an excuse to stand around a grill we’ll take it!
Every good tailgate needs a good appetizer to go along with the burgers and hot dogs though, and this Jalapeño Popper Dip is one of my favorites!
I’ve seen recipes for Jalapeño Popper Dip that call for a bunch of different spices in addition to the cheese and jalapeños, but this one is nice and simple with just cream cheese, Cheddar, Mexican cheese blend, diced jalapeños, bacon — because bacon makes everything be ..read more

Last week Cheetos sent me a box full of of Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese, bags of Cheetos and other assorted swag and asked me to show them my #CheetosMacHack. They even included a card with a couple recipes on it.
One of the recipes was just Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese with some extra cheese added to it and then crushed up Cheetos Puffs sprinkled on top of it and the second was a recipe that I actually already made back in 2018 — Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Breaded Jalapeño Poppers. Granted, my jalapeño poppers weren’t stuffed with Cheetos Cheesy Jalapeño Mac ‘N Cheese like the ones on the recipe card were, but th ..read more

It’s no secret that pulled pork is amazing, but it’s even better when it’s combined with homemade coleslaw and served in sandwich form between two deep fried macaroni and cheese buns!
El Yucateco recently asked me to create a recipe using one of their hot sauces. There was one small problem though…. They sent me all seven of their different sauce varieties and since they were all so good not only could I not decide on a recipe, but I couldn’t even decide which hot sauce I wanted to use. Eventually I chose two of my favorites and used them both to make one completely over-the-top sandwich!

Until Silver Spring Foods reached out to me asking if I could create a recipe for them for National Horseradish Month I had no idea that the world’s largest grower and processor of horseradish was located right here in my home state of Wisconsin.
When I think of horseradish the first thing that always comes to mind is Reuben sandwiches made with homemade Russian dressing, so I immediately gravitated to doing some sort of take on a Reuben. I finally settled on Reuben Egg Rolls.
A lot of people that I know only eat Reuben Rolls on or around St. Patrick’s Day, but I am not one of those people…. F ..read more

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BUBBA burger. All opinions are 100% mine.
I absolutely love burgers. In an average week I usually eat them at least five or six times. That’s why I always make sure to have a couple boxes of BUBBA burgers in my freezer!
Not only do they go straight from frozen to your grill or skillet so they’re ready in about ten minutes, but BUBBA burgers also only have one ingredient with no additives or preservatives. Based on some of the other ridiculously unhealthy food I make I know that might not seem like something ..read more
