I started this blog in 2007 as a way to keep a record of the things I was making. I also started quilting around that time, so this blog has followed my journey from a brand-new quilter, to a quilter that sort of knows what she's doing. If you're a quilter I hope you'll find some inspiration here, and if you've never quilted before I hope my site will help and encourage you along.

This quilt is called Hashtag, and I wrote the pattern specifically for fat quarters with easy cutting, little waste, and big easy blocks. This is a great one to show off fabrics since the pieces are larger. I...

So when designing this quilt, I was going for jack-o'-lanterns with happy faces (this is also the only design I can carve into a real...

I spent yesterday in the yard planting some new shrubs and it's finally feeling like Spring! I've made my share of springy quilts and today I'm rounding up some of my favorites. Top of the list has to be Tulips (above) Nothing says spring like a tulip quilt! I made this Primrose quilt last year,...

12 years ago I wrote the tutorial for these Sprocket Pillows and shared it here on my blog...it's been my most popular tutorial ever since. Those were the days my sewing machine was right next to my bed in our tiny townhouse, and I remember staying up almost all night tweaking these pillow templates and...

Whenever I'm overwhelmed with life and stressed out by all that I need to get done....you can count on me starting a totally unnecessary quilting project. In this case it was these Christmas Tree quilts that I started (in June!) while were getting ready to move and our house was mostly packed up. I made...
