Turks and Caicos footwear

We are staying at Seven Stars (Grace Bay) and understand this is on the walkable end near dining. Can someone describe if this path to restaurants is a boardwalk, sidewalk etc or sand- so I know if nice flip flops are in order, or better sandals that I can walk 15 minutes in? Our dinners are booked at some of the nicer restaurants. Thank you!

That area is very highly/densely developed. Sand can be found on the beach. Off the beach, you'll find boardwalk or paved or brick pathways, sidewalks & roads in, around, and through all of the resorts.

It does look densely populated on google maps but it really doesn't feel like that. You can walk on the sidewalk or you can walk along the beach. But it will be very hot and walking 15mins in heat isn't very nice. I'd rather try to arrive cool calm and collected rather than hot and bothered. Also, its not a great idea to walk back at night if it is already dark.
