Need a driver for a day from the San Jose airpoet

We are going to Costa Rica for the seventh time, and we need a driver for one day on June 20th because our flight from Liberia comes in at noon and our flight home leaves at midnight. We like to go to Rescate wildlife rescue as well as other close by sights as well as have dinner and then return to the airport. We will have luggage so the driver will help keep an eye on that which is why that’s better than renting a car for us. Does anyone have a recommendation of someone they’ve used for this?

Have you tried checking with your hotel? We usually book drivers through our hotels when we reserve them.

As I understood the OP they won't be at a hotel -- they fly in mid day and fly out at midnight. The SJO website lists 5 approved taxi companies with phone numbers -- maybe check some of them out for a full day booking.

Good point Janis. I thought perhaps their hotel in Liberia could recommend someone.

I found a driver. On the Costa Rica travel Facebook group one name of a driver kept coming up so I contacted him and he’s getting one of his people to help us. For $100!

You won't get away from an air poet for $100. Maybe a sea poet or even an earth poet, but air poets travel!
