Five night in French Alps (Thônes)

Five night in French Alps (Thônes)
Hi !
from august 3 to august 8 we will be in Thônes in an airbnb. We have chosen Thônes only because the appartment was nice and that Th¸eone is bifg enough to have grocery and restaurants. It's also kind of central. Maybe is not the better option but we will live with it I guess !
We (2 adults and 11 and 15 years old kids) are looking for the must see/do. Of course we will :
1) Go in Annecy. We will also be there for la ''fête du Lac'' but my guess is that it's too much crowdy to be enjoyable.
2) Go to Chamonix (Mont-Blanc)
Any good ideas ? Must do hike ? We are not big hikers but we love not too strenuous walk that give us great sights.
