A good hotel by Tokyo station

I would need to stay one night near the Tokyo station.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Maria

Though I haven't stayed there, I think I can safely recommend the 'Tokyo Station Hotel', one of a group of hotels 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World.' I had a day in Tokyo in February & exiting Tokyo Station I was looking for a restroom. I've found through the years that the best way to find a comfortable one is to look for a good hotel & in addition one learns a lot about the service by how they treat non-guests. I saw the hotel as I exited the station from the side that faces the Imperial Palace, went in & asked if might use a restroom. The young woman graciously escorted me to the elevator & explained where I'd find it on the lower floor. I was impressed with the place, low key & a place I'd love to stay right IN the beautiful Tokyo Station building.

A budget and your expectations would probably elicit more helpful suggestions. Around Tokyo Station you can find capsule hotels at the budget end and places like the Tokyo Station Hotel and the Shangrila at the high end, with many others in between.

This hotel was recommended to me. I didn’t stay there but it gets good reviews.

For a budget-friendly hotel, I recommend Capsule Inn or Hotel Metropolitan

Just curious but why near Tokyo station?
it’s a transport hub and close to the Ginza and there are a fair amount of hotels nearby, but no one really lives nearby
