BGMI error code 1 is frustrating eager gamers of the game

The error code is related to server being busy, according to an in-game message

BGMI game is preparing to launch very soon, KRAFTON claims all errors will be fixed then

With BGMI set to drop in on the Google PlayStore on May 27, marking its return to India, gamers who had access to the game or had installed it before the ban are now getting a mysterious error code – “Error Code: Restriction-Area”.

Right before the game’s official launch in the country, the servers seem to have been taken down. This could mean a multitude of things. However, before we get into all the details, here’s a brief look at all that has happened so far.

Error Code: Restriction-Area will disappear after official BGMI game launch

One of the most popular battle-royale games in India when it was active, Battlegrounds Mobile India, ran on the famous PUBG: Mobile DNA. The game borrowed heavily from the title it had replaced in India, before being banned in the country itself.

However, right before the return of the game, the players are being served an error code, as prefaced in the intro of the article. The warning explaining the error code reads – “Server is busy, please try again later”.

Given that the launch of the game is literally hours away, I can safely guess that Krafton is getting its servers ready for the massive influx of players that they are going to get upon launch.

This is a very normal operating procedure followed by developers of games before and after the launch of the game. And, given that many of the players in India, who had access to the game through means that necessarily aren’t the most legitimate, KRAFTON would also need to do some cleaning to ensure that the players who’ll sign up at the time of relaunch have a seamless experience.

BGMI will be available on the Google PlayStore for download starting May 27. Are you looking forward to try the game out? Or have you already started playing the game? Let us know in the comments below.
