SacAnime has announced its first two guests and they are both industry legends in their own right. Steve Blum and Tom Kenny have been announced as guests for SacAnime Summer 2023.

Steve Blum is a voice actor with a long history in the industry. He is best known for his role as Spike Spiegel on Cowboy Bebop. His other notable roles include Kyogai in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Keisuke Takahashi in Initial D, Sub-Zero in the Mortal Kombat series since 2015 and Roger the Negotiator on Big O. Gamers will recognize him for his performance as Scott Mitchell in the Ghost Recon series and Dark Star in No More Heroes. Of course you can’t forget his role as TOM during Cartoon Networks / Adult Swim block of Toonami.

Tom Kenny is a voice actor with a long history in the industry. He is best known for his role as SpongeBob SquarePants in every media (including video games and movies) since 1999. His other notable roles include the Mayor along with the Narrator in The Powerpuff Girls. One of his early roles was as Heffer Wolfe in Rocko’s Modern Life.

More guests along with details about the event will be announced in the future. Tickets for SacAnime Summer 2023 are currently on sale now. Hotel blocks for the event have also opened up.

SacAnime Summer 2023 will take place from September 1st to September 3rd at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. It’s one of the largest anime conventions in Central California. It organizes a series of insightful panels along with cosplay gatherings, musical events, and more.
