Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Announced

Today, Frontier Foundry announced an upcoming tactical, turn-based game in the Warhammer 40K universe. The RPG, titled Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, will come out sometime next year in 2022. Humanity’s greatest weapon, the Grey Knights, will clash with the forces of Chaos. The campaign will be story-driven and authored by New York Times bestselling author Aaron Dembski-Bowden.Frontier Foundry will work in conjunction with Games Workshop, creators of Warhammer 40K.

Protected by the strength of their faith and devotion, the Grey Knights are mysterious protectors of humanity. The Grey Knights will confront a galaxy-wide plan to infect thousands of worlds with an enigmatic cosmic plague. Set in the rich Warhammer 40K universe, players can expect the Known for its “grimdark” atmosphere, the series takes place in the 41st millennium in the era of space exploration, an all-powerful Emperor of humanity, and green-skinned Orks.

Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will come to PCs next year. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Complex Games and Frontier Foundry are working together along with Games Workshop to create the experience. Frontier Foundry’s previous Warhammer Age of Sigmar real-time strategy title is also still in development.

Games Workshop produces Warhammer 40K, which has expanded into video games, miniatures, novels, and model kits. It boasts over 500 branded stores (Games Workshop or Warhammer), an online store, and independent retail channels in over 50 countries around the globe. It also includes a publishing division, Black Library, and a special resin studio, Forge World. The Nottingham-based company is also known for the quality of its fantasy miniatures.

Frontier is an independent developer and publisher of video games, with Frontier Foundry acting as the company’s dedicated games label. Frontier has been in business since 1994, owing its success to its COBRA game development technology. Complex Games, based in Canada, has two decades of experience working on various titles for a variety of publishers and platforms. Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is the first title after the company went independent.
